UNICEF’s Schools for Africa Initiative supports quality education
for more than 30 million children in 13 African countries. Whereas
many organisations end up spending a significant portion of their
donations on administration and campaigning, UNICEF promises to
spend 90% of every dollar directly on children's needs and only 10% on
running their organisation.
By participating in a project like this, you really get a sense of where your money is going and its impact. Knowing we are helping to provide educational opportunities to young kids who may become the future leaders of Africa is truly phenomenal.
Africa School Assistance Projects builds dorms to provide safety
for young girls, provides school supplies for children, and constructs
new schools in Africa.
Develop Africa was born from the vision that human resource development is the key to improving nation building capacity in Africa.
Develop Africa focuses on helping and teaching the new generation
to work towards economically stronger countries in Africa. A large part
of Develop Africa's vision is building schools, and educating children
who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity.
For many village children in the region, formal education is next to non-existent. Yeshu Darbar would like to change that by building schools and staffing them with teachers who would also serve a pastoral role in the community.
The Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada (EMCC) has
partnered with a movement in the region of Allahabad, India known as
Yeshu Darbar. The mission is to see 500 schools come to life, and
through it to bring people to Christ.

I feel so lucky to have traveled to Africa with ASAP, and to be a part of the amazing work they are doing. There is no better feeling than holding one of the primary school students hands, looking into their smiling faces, and knowing that your work is quite literally changing their life.
Every summer Africa School Assistance Project (ASAP) leads
